Birthday on Earth Day

Ecologic Institute US is celebrating its 7th anniversary, and I would like to invite you to join us in our Dupont Circle offices to salute our Birthday on Earth Day. Along with a light breakfast, we are pleased to present the following program:

Our Energy Solutions
Do we need a National Energy Strategy or is grassroots and local action the key?
at Ecologic Institute, 1630 Connecticut Ave. NW, Suite 300
Washington, DC 20009
Wednesday, April 22nd, 8:30-10:00am

We are happy to be joined by
• Brook Lenker and Sam Malone, FracTracker Alliance, and
• Suzanne Hunt, Hunt Green LLC

I look forward to a spirited and provocative roundtable discussion with your input.

Brook and Sam partner with Ecologic Institute on the Our Energy Solutions project which will visit 7 countries and 3 continents this year. Together we are working to create an informed global community of engaged citizens, organizations, businesses, governments, and stakeholders to develop ideas and solutions that keep our society moving forward while preserving our planet for the future.

Suzanne plays an influential role in New York state’s evolving understanding of large-scale energy transitions. Her expert knowledge of Germany’s Energiewende, or Energy Transition, will help us explore possible ways for the United States to achieve President Obama’s aggressive green energy goals.

With this breakfast event, we hope to foster the inspired debate about the need for a National Energy Strategy or, alternatively, more investment and focus on grassroots and State-level action.

Please register for the event here by April 20, so we can be sure to have enough food and coffee for everyone. I look forward to seeing you there and hearing your ideas.
